All that pent up social demand…. The SHIFT was definitely on last night.

I'm so glad I'm not in my twenties anymore, I don't have to socialise in a loud crowded environment anymore until 4am, the queuing alone would put me off.

It might be appropriate to explain to fabbers, north of the border, that coppers is an abbreviated term for a very popular Dublin venue called, I think, Copper Face Jacks. Am I correct?

The queue for coppers has always been big. You always have to queue to get into venues. Did they show queues for the Aviva or Croker where they had 40k people or the 3 arena where they had 5k... no...

Don't get why people are pissed off about it. Queues mean they're doing checks and limiting numbers on entry.

It’s great to see young people getting out again and enjoying it don’t think we would have coped as well if this happened when we were there ages

Delighted for the youngsters. Many 18 or 19yr olds might not have ever experienced clubbing until now. I can only imagine the carnage. Party on

I think it was more to do with the significance of opening up after been closed for 18 months and the milestone occasion that pics and videos were taken.
