Hey Everyone

I’m looking at putting together a social/fun night possibly the end of the year but what would be the best tips for putting one together

I’ve organized lots but never something like this so I want to make sure I do it right

I’m very lucky in my job I have links to some incredible houses throughout the country that would be perfect venues for such! The offer luxury, privacy, space and endless possibilities but just to get people’s thoughts!

The right mix of people?

Costs?

Location?

How many guests?

Anything at all to help would be amazing

The right venue is half the battle. Everything else falls into place easily enough. Insist on meet verified only and only divulge the venue at the last min. Do your karma a favour and only try and cover costs rather than make a load of cash.

Oh that would be the aim just to cover costs! Not looking to make anything on them just to try have something different

The venues would be country houses throughout the place do not sure would people travel etc but again that’s something I could look at it!

Thank you so much x

In my experience peoole WILL travel for the right event. Select a venue you can be honest with. It makes stuff way easier

Theres a lot of work getting it sorted OP. Not least your guest list. A good mix of couples single ladies and men who are verified . You will also have the usual no shows to contend with. Also accomodation is something to consider, is there hotels nearby?? Will be food ,music??. Its a hell of a lit of work but best of luck to you.

WOW !! Huge Salute to you OP for even thinking of organising such an event,l would have absolutely no idea of how or where one would start but maybe something else to consider is the cleaning up or tidying up after such an event ,as in, would a cleaning contractor have to be hired for after the event ? especially if it's a private residence or would the residence already have staff employed there etc ?.

Small admin fee just to cover the costs. Nothing more. Payment upfront via a payment link. Whoever pays definitely wants to go and removes the chancers. As Filty advised, pick great location and only divulge late afternoon to Fab verified people who have payed. You can give general location and advise of hotels suitable that are close to venue for attendees looking to stay over.

Best of luck OP.
