Been here a while now and have been trying to get my profile up to date

Everytime I think I am getting places with it I read it and delete it cause it sounds fake

I am genuinely keen to sort this out once and for all

All suggestions welcome and appreciated

OP you have to remember you are competing with hundreds of other single males who have pics up and are verified.

Get yourself a profile pic - to grab people's attention.

Add one or two public pics.

Put something in your bio about yourself.

Have a look at some verified single male profiles on Fab for ideas.

Without these it can be extremely hard to meet people. You need to sell yourself a bit.

Your current profile doesn't say much about you at all.

Talk a little bit about yourself, maybe what led you to fab and put up some photos. If you are just not comfortable with public display You can do as I have and block your face but at least have some photos up you can share with people you are chatting to.

You want to show yourself as someone who may be worth talking to but at the same time you don't want your life story up there.

It's all fine and well asking for advice but then it turns into a tick list of what others think you should have on your profile.

Whatever you put has to be consistent and sustainable so that means your pics, bio, messages and forum posts if any should all show that you are the man you are trying to sell.

There's no point having a sleek and attractive profile if you can't sustain that in any messages you send so don't try to be someone you aren't.

Put whatever reflects your true personality and not what you think others want to see.

You need a profile pic and at least another public pic.

Get photo verified.

Would recommend being a site supporter (it's pretty cheap).

Writing a profile is difficult but get a couple of lines in.

After that, I don't know really. You'd have to ask the women what they like to see.

You need to be genuine. Don't bullshit or say what you think people want to hear.

Talk about your likes and what you like to do. Keep it positive.

Pictures help.

Most important is to attend socials and meet and greets.

Fab is a tool but you will find attending events gets you into the social circles that swinging hinges on.

Don't be creepy.
