Enjoyed it because it was Bond and worth going to see the arc of his 5 films

An hour too long and would I watch it again if I was flicking through the channels on Sky and it was on.....probably not

It was a bit too long (true of many Bond films and most films in general these days) and the bad guy was a bit underwhelming. But Craig was great, some amazing action sequences and, wow, that ending. Gonna be interesting to see where the franchise goes next.

If you're at all into the Bond series, it really is a must-see in the cinema.

At the end of the credits on every Bond movie it tells you Bond will return in …….. I waited and sure enough at the end it says Bond will return. I really enjoyed the film and like the subtle nods to the past especially the pictures on the wall of the previous M’s. It’s not Casino Royale but still a great conclusion to Craig’s time as Bond and I think he revived the franchise. Will be interesting to see who the next Bond is.

I'll go to see it just to get out. And I've never seen a Bond movie on the big screen so the action scenes should be good. But only 2 Bonds for me, Connery and Moore. All others were imitations. I might be old school but there you go.

Great cinema movie in terms of set pieces and visuals. The story and villain made no sense but the actors did well can't fault anyone in the cast, v solid performances.

Found some the wokeness just empty box ticking but most major Hollywood movies doing that nowadays. Would be curious to see if they do a female bond spin out and actually give her decent material to work with.

Kinnegad, sometimes Cork, Limerick, Waterford

Guess I’m in the minority here but the ending just ruined it for me. The Craig era movies are for the most part good well acted spy thriller movies but for me they’re not ‘Bond’ movies. I understand what they wanted to do and I guess they have done it but at some point it goes too far and the spirt of the character is gone. The nods to the old movies just made it worse for me. By shoehorning in old Astons and music cues as if to say ‘see this is James Bond’ it just made it more obvious that the actions of Craig’s character were too far removed from the classic character. IMO

Folks , ye do realise James Bond is dead! Are we going to be left with dreadful prequels. Why end it like that. I was really hoping Christopher Nolan would direct one.

Saoirse Ronan needs to continue with Hannah, of subject but I think it has real potential.

It'll be a reboot. There was a loose sort of continuity between the Connery - Brosnan eras - Lazenby in OHMSS reminiscing over adventures from his predecessor's time, Moore visiting Tracy's grave in FYEO, another reference to Bond having been married in LTK, the recurrence of Desmond Lwelyn, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell etc. - but Casino Royale was the first one which explicitly could not have been the continuing adventures of the guy from the last films.

So they may not do the prequel bit again (CR was also the first time Bond got an origin story), it'll just be like e.g. Ben Affleck being a new Batman with new Alfred etc., rather than suggesting he's the same version as played by Christian Bale. So I'm guessing anyway - it's pretty uncharted territory for the Bond franchise.

Watched it last night, it was entertaining no doubt, but I've to admit I miss the political incorrect James who charmes every women he comes across with his machoistic chivalry. In my opinion Craig was the best Bond, its key they get the right Bond next as Daniel Craig was excellent. The film itself was superb and I enjoyed it,love how they had throwbacks to some of Craig's other films and bought bits into it such as the whisky at the end, similar to Moneypenny going in other movie.

Love Daniel as Bond and waited with great anticipation, however I did not enjoy the movie, way too slow for a 007 picture, Daniel looked like he was going through the motions. Ana de Armas was fantastic and lit up the screen unlike the 007 counterpart. Hope they return to the tried and tested formula. A far cry from Casino Royale but then all of Ian Flemings material has been used. Maybe they could consider an author taking up his mantle and writing some more novels and adapting them for the big screen.

Personally I hated it - Im a huge fan of the series and I thought the ending crapped all over 60 odd years of the character and the franchise

The first hour was decent, the rest was unnecessarily long, the bad guy was baffling with no apparent motive for doing what ever it was he was supposedly going to do, (which was never fully explained) and they really painted themselves into a corner with how it finished. The female character of 007 was cringe worthy and was so obviously a box ticking exercise by the producers for diversity. (no disrespect to the actress playing the role, I just think it was a poorly written 1 dimensional crap character)

The ending made no sense for many reasons (which I wont go into given spoliers)

lots of folks seemed to enjoy it, but I dont think I've ever been more disappointed in a movie!!
