Sober October

Is anyone else doing this?

Myself and a few friends are in. Put 30 quid each into a pot and winner takes all.

The rules are, we avoid any alcohol, smoking or such until the 31st.

We also see who runs/walks the most in that period, as well as some other challenges. The winner takes all.

Last year was very fun, I came a close second, so I am determined this year.

It's a good bodily reset while having a little fun. It doesn't have to be too serious.

I would love to have some of you Fabbers along, so if you're interested drop a reply below

I'm going for a drink Saturday night, first one in months, alcohol isn't a player in my life at all.

I’ll only drink red wine, it’s not really alcohol, is it!!

Newry Down

I'm doing precisely what my mother mandated when I was a teenager: no alcohol, no smoking, and definitely no girls.

No I'm not. I was a persistently disobedient child!

Fair play on the challenges but surely giving up alcohol for a month isn't really a challenge?

It's not just that really. It's a month of just bettering yourself, there's layers to it
