100% some great posts get annoying when you have to scroll past 7 or 8 thumbs up, this or I agree replies to them

Not sure a like button would bring much to the forum as it wouldn’t inspire conversation. I would like to see a poll option, an update to the general interface and gifs. For the love of jebus give us gifs!

No way...no " like " button ..be way too much like FB then ,it will only make people bitter as in some will like some posts not others then the rejection or resentment kicks in ..the " why did he /she not like my post but did theirs "..and that's even if you can't see who liked yours only the number of likes..even though people are the ages they are here , it doesn't take long for jealousy or resentment to creep in ,so to me it's best avoided to introduce something that can but that's only my opinion , plus there's already a " thumbs up " emoji on the site so why need a " like " ??...might be miles away on my thoughts on it but if this was the X- factor it'd be a no from me .

I agree with the opinions above. No to a like button but a big yes to gifs and proper emojis

I think gifs in private messages is a good idea but not so sure about the forums. I can be hard enough at times scrolling through the bigger threads.

Can you imagine , hundreds liking posts pushing to remove professional from bios and to have more pineapple on pizza . It d be a nightmare

Also, isn’t there already a thumbs up emoji

Actually thinking about it now. Gifs would stop the flow of conversation in the forums. Though there have been times here that a particular Gif would be the perfect answer to some posts.

What about a golden buzzer button.

"Also, isn’t there already a thumbs up emoji "

But that adds to the issue of scrolling through already

Another site I was on had a similar facility. It just ended in getting messages from people asking why you did not like their post but you had liked someone else's. Tedious.

Oh don't give us Gif's, they're the most annoying thing about that other messaging app imo
