We are hosting a sexy fab Halloween themed party in a house just outside Waterford city. We are fairly new to this and would like any advice and thoughts…

Go for well verified people with maybe a select few newbies just to give everyone a chance.

Sounds like a great idea, good luck with it all

I would also advise mainly inviting well play verified people. Don't give anyone the venue details too early. Best of luck with it.

My tips would me:

Invite a mix of people you have met already (then core group are already comfortable around each other)

Only invite well verified (less stressful)

Invite friends of friends

If you want to invite newbies at least have a social meet with them first ( it's always good to give newbies a chance).

Makes the night SO less stressful when you feel happy with the crowd.

Set up a little chat group builds up the excitement but you will also see from it who may pull out.

If you paid for the venue get the money upfront from everyone - it's easy to forget on the night/people forget to pay. You don't want to be out of pocket.

Lastly only disclose the venue on the day to people that have confirmed attendance/paid.

Make sure there is a chill out room where people can socialise/no play allowed.

Set party rules. Be clear with these especially with the newbies.

Best of luck OP

We've decided to only invite people that we have previously met either socially or otherwise so if you are interested in an invite you'll have to commit to meet us in Waterford before November

Best tip I ever got was put cheap shower curtains over the bedsheets then get cheap sheets for top of that then if any mermaids get excited the 2 top layers can be removed and binned at end of night and house back to normal quickly! It was a life saver at all my parties lol had to let slip in IKEA that I had a B&B as only way to explain 12 shower curtains and sheets lol lol
