I was actually only about 8yrs old, I bought it at the Galway races off a stall. I hadn't a clue who meatloaf was I just loved the album cover. However, I actually became a meatloaf fan, bought more albums and went to a couple of concerts and all.

Nice dream , fake plastic trees , high and dry , bullet proof and black star are incredible songs

Yeah amazing start to finish. Soundtrack to my youth and learned to play guitar watching radio head live at the astoria. Good Times "

I know people often talk about the original Glastonbury gig with the power cut but I enjoyed 2 years ago’s more . They knew exactly how to blend in new material , the electrónica stuff , but only the stuff that doesn’t alienate more mainstream viewers . The full list included

Daydreaming

Myxomatosis

Everything In It’s Right Place

Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

Idioteque

You And Whose Army?

There There

2+2=5

Lotus Flower

Plus creep and let down which you never hear and are possibly their best 2 .

Plus a bunch of classics

Hell

I don't know if this counts as the first single I bought, I think it does though.

It was a Britney Spears doll that came with the single of "Stronger".

I think I drove my parents demented playing it on repeat.

It's a toss up between Pearl Jam 10, and Oasis,What's the Story Morning glory. I honestly can't remember...due to an acquired brain injury in my 20s there's a lot of blanks in the early 90s

Rubber Bullets, by 10CC back in (was it) 1973. I know technically it was a 45, not an album, but I dont remember my first album, though I'm sure it would have been a country one...
