Think he said he queried why they hadn't shown as having looked at his profile. Which is a fair question if he didn't know about ninja mode. Even so, can people not ask why someone has messaged them? Why should that be seen as not coming across well? "I've never mailed someone first...but if I did & they asked me why I did... I'd personally get an incline they were a bit dramatic.
