I'm just wondering what everyone else does wen meeting a couple in a hotel wat usually happens is we go half on hotel is this wat evey1 else does

I booked it once and paid then people I met didn't even mention offering anything, I didn't want to be rude and ask for money but I would have offered if it was the other way around.

We usually do the booking for a day room to play. Very few have ever offered to go halves.

Me and a fem friend have been caught out in the past. We booked the room and the guy never even mentioned the money. I let the guys book the room now. At least I know I will offer my share.

We don't normally stay over for the full night but we'll always pay half. But we insist that the guy books the room as we've been stood up and left paying for a room that we didn't use on more than 1 occasion.

We always pay for the hotel. At the end of the day, our playmate is our guest. However, we do let the playmate buy us a drink or two before hand

Exactly. If the couple can't host then the room is as much of a necessity for them and so they should pay their fair share.

This seems to come from a 'we're doing you a favour by allowing you to join us' mentality.

I have no issue paying for the room but I would expect whoever I was meeting to offer to go halves.

The same goes for travelling. If there is distance involved I expect whoever I am meeting to travel as well. We don't necessarily have to meet half way but a little effort on their part is required.

I don't use the word mutual lightly on my profile and someone who isn't prepared to contribute and/or travel is too high maintenance.

It’s also a great way to test his ‘single’ status because you start to get the ‘I actually don’t have a credit card’ style panic responses when he knows that the wife/partner will see the Holiday Inn charge on the CC

I have had meets in hotels where the lady insisted she payed half and it was a condition she insisted on her side before in chatting and l've had a meet with a lady who only met in hotels and the guy paid for it,and no comparison in both types of meets ,as in the ones that went halves were way more, way more enjoyable simply because of their nature in general whereas the latter was exactly what she said on the tin ,selfish ,mean and all self centered,placed herself on a self placed pedestal , needless to say there wasnt a repeat,my decision.but the former one, who went halves, was a lady, and we met countless times over a certain period, we just clicked mentally as regards a lot of things , including as already mentioned the sharing of costs.

A fab play meet is usually based on mutual pleasure and fun. As a result, both parties should be contributing an equal amount both to costs and effort.

Anyone insisting that you should foot the costs to be granted a meet with them should be ditched quick smart.

Being there done that got the Tshirts. My first fab meet was a 3 hour drive to Mayo. So be insisted he would pay for room. Imagine my surprise when he fucked me and said he needed to pop home and feed the dog and get out cash for room but never came back. He actually had the cheek to look for a verify few years later when he came back.

Normally if I'm staying in a hotel everything is paid for by the company anyway

I wouldn't ask anyone to make a contribution as I wouldn't want to make money on it but sure buy me a drink in the bar if thats acceptable instead
