I know there's a lot wrong with this country but isn't the coastal scenery just amazing neary everywhere.

Way back in the day I left Dublin in my van and drove only on the coastal roads around the country until I ran out of money, after 10 days....got as far as Mayo and drove home across country

Opened my eyes to the hidden beauty of Ireland

Secert waterfall as said. Slieve league beside it. The waterfall then in adara . Then drive along in to dungloe around to errigal and muckish. Take a hike up those if u enjoy a hike. Then over to glenveagh national park to name a few areas

It’s tough choosing between west cork Connemara and Donegal. As Connemara is so easy to get to for me and Donegal probably has the most unpredictable weather perhaps west cork edges it

Yeah think the secrets well and truly out at this stage. Just a class waterfall now more thsn a secert one

Connemara is class, dogs bay and gurteen are probably the nicest beach's I've been on. Fond of west Cork too

Co Down has got to be up there, some great beaches, the Mournes, the view coming from Hilltown into Rostrevor overlooking Carlingford Bay is something else, views of the Irish Sea, Scotland and IOM, Strangford lough, Belfast lough views, GOT and other film locations, decent seaside towns geared up for tourists and stretches to 2 cities (some of east/south Belfast is in Down)

Take Paddy's boat from Teelin harbour to explore Slieve League from below. If he is in a good mood he will stop and let you fish and swim off the boat. Stop for lunch and a great pint in the Rusty Mackerel after.

Head to Fintra beach near Killybegs and Silver strand in Glencolumbkille. I'd you are really adventurous head to Port (make sure you have a full tank of petrol). The most remote and stunning place I have been to. Where Dylan Thomas was sent to dry out until he fell in with local poitín makers

Will never forget the first time I seen the view out over Clew bay. Had to stop the car and just sat there for an hour. But the north Antrim coast is hard to beat. Then again I just love Youghal. Also drove from east cork down to castletown bare along the coast one evening and some of the views where spectacular. We really are blessed. Finally !!!!. Donegal is the jamaica of Ireland
