That all governments are just like the Mafia, except that governments can ligitimise themselves, and classify all other similar competing organisations as illegitimate.

Similarly the Catholic Church can classify itself as the one true church and deride all others as not; except that most people now realise the latter is BS.

Myself and my friend shared these secrets for years, but somehow the truth sneaked out; I suspect he revealed our secret!
