Hi ..looking recommendations for bars in Belfast for a couple of not quite young but certainly not old ladies lol on a saturday night out

Anything around the Cathedral Quarter is generally good. Harp, Dirty Onion, Cloth Ear etc.

I would second the Cathedral Quarter suggestion, but it's hard to say what places are like at the minute, due to the pandemic. You might also need to check which bars, if any, require bookings, though I think a lot in the city centre are now accepting walk-ins (subject to availability).

You should try the university area, particularly Botanic Avenue and Lower Crescent; also the Stranmillis area, right at the crest of the hill, just beyond the Ashby Institute. Very good licensed restaurants in both area. Scan area on Google Maps (street view)
