Can we set up a post with all the time wasting people that don't show up for meets, just a suggestion it might discourage people from making fools of people, it takes a lot of organising to get away between babysitters and hotel and to be stood up is very frustrating, we are all here for a bit of excitement there is no need for this kind of carry-on

Don't think the powers that be would allow naming and shaming over forums..

potentially libellous assuming a person was minded to sue, which probably wouldnt be the case, given people like their privacy

What's to stop someone adding a person's name out of spite?

If someone doesnt show for a meet you can report them to admin. Public naming and shaming is open to abuse and i think people get enough of that on here as it is. I understand the frustration as we have been in the same situation but just report, block and move on

Well simple advice choose wisely who you want to meet. More chat, webcam , phone call get to know the person may be you will come to know who he or she really is before the meet day.

Some people are expert in camouflage

Just wondering what proportion of no-shows had a prior social?

I can only surmise, but would think that it is low. Mrs

I always assume some of the no-show are for socials.

Don't get why this keeps happening. Why are we here for if its not to meet each other.

This is what private notes are for. So you can make notes about a person for your own reference without naming and shaming.

Naming and shaming is generally bad form.

Although I do share your frustration as Missus and I get stood up all the time. Our best method of dealing with this is just a simple block and move on.

I'm referring specifically to fun meets, not socials as they require more preparation and expense

Have never not shown up when I said I would but have been stood up loads of times by girls and couples.

Even been ghosted a few times where they just vanished

down the road

Maybe a "name and commend" list and put all the good ones there.

Especially the genuine singles.

So verifications then?

No you can't use the forums, your profile or status to name and shame other members.

If someone has arranged a meet and are a no show, then please report so Admin can have a look.
