The definition of a heatwave is 5 consecutive days, or more, of 5°C above the average. That means 5 consecutive days with temperatures of 25°C or above. Today is day 6 so it officially became a heatwave yesterday afternoon. It doesn't matter whether you think its hot or not, it's the temperature that matters. | |||
