About golf.

I don’t get to play much any more, although I have retained my balls…..

But just watching the open highlights, it’s the lack of controversy (generally) over someone winning.

If they won, it was simply because they played better, it’s not like some other sports, allegations of drug taking, cheating, foul play, bad refereeing decisions, bribery etc., although there is of course occasionally an advantage for some based on the weather they or others encounter during play.

Of course there’s probably some of that somewhere in the background, Chinese whispers of this and that, but to the general public, unless there was some sort of an unusual incident, which do occur, there are rarely any arguments or doubts about the winner.

And now I’m going to watch the official Shane Lowery winning the open in 2019 film, again.

Highly recommend it even if you’re not a golf fan.

It’s nice sometimes to golf alone, good luck with the other one on your own ….
