Outbreak of syphilis in Ireland.. Seems to have been exacerbated by peoples reluctance to get checked with covid situation

A swab. Sent back via mail. Very quick turnaround with results

It depends on your risk profile (ie what equipment you have and what equipment you play with) but for me as a heterosexual cis woman I had to do a swab, and a blood sample (finger prick).

Both me and partner did it, Both indicated bi.

I got a vaginal swap and a vial for blood that you get with a little lancet they provide that gives you a poke when you press down.

Male partner also did the blood, and had a throat and anal swap.

I think the tests arrived only a few days after ordering.

We did the test and sent it off on Thursday, had the results text on Saturday.

It was first detected in the East Midlands area and fas been spreading.
