Hey guys we’re looking to meet someone on here but we’re wondering how does everyone verify people beforehand? Like on kik or Snapchat ?

Most people here use kik to verify. Some younger folk will use Snapchat But keep in mind you can fake a live photo on kik. So ask them to do something like blow a kiss etc

It depends on your definition of verifying?

If you mean chatting for a while and getting to know them then those apps are one way of doing it but it's no different to chatting through the site. You have to use your own common sense and intuition.

You can never be 100% sure of anyone really. I suppose the most reliable way to know they aren't psycho is by how many people give them good recommendations. Of course those people could have found themselves inside a chest freezer on the second meet.

I guess at the end of the day you have to trust your gut.

I have been verified by a lady I met outdoors for a coffee a few months ago. I have had several meets for a coffee over the last few months. It's interesting to read on profiles and on the forums that too many verifications can be viewed by some as a negative thing as it looks like you are meeting dozens of folks. At the same time, they won't meet or take messages from someone who is not verified!

We use either live pictures on kik to prove they're are real and then we video call if they ar up for it and then verify.. we think pictures aren't enough for a verification..
