Hi everyone just wondering are people getting crazy amount of messages every day?we've been on here a couple of years and have never had hundreds of messages pour in.is there somthing wrong with our profile or are some people full of shite when they say they got hundreds of messages in a few days.now were not really bothered about it just a thought

It's mainly the new single ladies that get hundreds of messages first few weeks. It eventually settles down. I know when I initially joined I had one photo and no profile joined late at night and woke up to 402 unread messages.

Now I'm not a woman, per se. But I assume you get that volume of messages when you first join and are seen as fresh meat, or when you are in the top of the hot pics.

No doubt people have 100s of "unopened" messages. But I doubt it's every day

It very much depends on where you’re based. It’s quiet in Galway, for example, but while in Dublin for a night recently it got a lot busier

Its gotten busier lately again, with an ease in lockdown but id say its only 100's if you've no filters set

Started a couples’ profile few weeks back and within a couple of hours there were hundreds of messages .

With filters set , and once it becomes clear that meeting the entire site is practically challenging it’s now down to 15 a day or something . A sexcretary was never going to be easy to find anyway

I only ever got a load of messages when I first joined I've tightened my filters right up and now I don't really get many which makes it a lot easier to deal with on here as I don't want a load of messages .I don't see the point of getting loads that you will never get around to reading or replying to.

All of the above but sometimes telling everyone about the amount of messages received is used in the same way as a sky remote or lynx can.

Others ignore the available filters because they suffer from FOMO.

Having recent pics/videos verifications makes a difference, and you don't have that. Being on who's near will make a difference. Participating frequently on the forums or webchat will make a difference. Being in a very well populated area will make a difference. Lastly and probably most importantly, filters. Do you have any filters on?
