I enjoy some of it like the sub genre of Bluegrass and outlaw country. I really enjoy the spirituals and the blues.

Irish country music doesn't make me feel anything except for despair.

I particularly Love both American and Irish Country Music. I also love most other types as we depending on my mood.

I often tune into KTNK radio in California as it’s a very good Honky Tonk station.

Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard were great buddies and if you get a chance look at their recording of ‘It’s all going to pot’ on YouTube. Looking like they smoking pot and having a ball. Also Willie’s wearing a top with the words Irish Pub on it.

Wrote his first song at age seven. Joined his first band at age ten. Has released 71 studio albums .... the latest was earlier this year at the age of 88 .... what a rebel and what a legend.

Depends what you define as country. Some modern takes are widely commercial eg. early Kings of Leon.. I'm a big fan of Ryan Adams and Nathaniel Ratliffe and I'm pretty sure they fall under the same...

LOVE LOVE LOVE Willy Nelson. Such a beautiful unique and unmistakable voice. I was lucky enough to see him up close about 10 or 11 years ago. Absolutely in a league of his own!

Depends what you mean by country. I wouldnt include Daniel O'Donnell or any of that northern / border county muck in the category. I could suggest Iris De Ment as a good place to start, or to an extent Kate and Anna McGarrigle, although the latter are more folk. EmmyLou Harris' album, Red Dirt Girl, is great even if you dont like country. For me you have to be American, its their music, the rest are just imitators.

The TV show Archer released a surprisingly descent Country album a few years back called Cherlene, accompanying the 5th season.

I expected it to be a comedy album, but its not, it's just a stand alone amazing Country album.
