Clothing optional and lack of cop on.

So here I am, out enjoying this beautiful weather at the Southern tip of Donabate beach, (yes, the clothing-optional area). A group of individuals here, primarily males, but also one M/F couple.

A female arrives and sets up close-by. Lays out her towel, discretely puts on her bikini, takes out a book/sunscreen etc.

She’s either unaware this area is a popular spot for those who enjoy the heat of the sun on their whole body, or, as is her right, she’s perhaps just chosen to sunbathe in this area while wearing a bikini. It is a public beach after all, and she’s free to do as she pleases.

Within 5 minutes of her settling down to enjoy the tranquility while reading her book, one of the males makes his way from the dunes down onto the strand. He began walking by her, looking her up and down, all the while strategically holding a small pink towel to protect his modesty, then walked a little further away, throws the towel into the dunes before walking over to her again, revealing all.

It was obvious that she had no more interest but to enjoy the sunshine and her own company.

The male didn’t seem to get the hint however, and refused to accept her lack of interest, and unwillingness to engage, so the female upped and left.

Some guys are just not very intelligent it appears. I’ve been to nudist beaches throughout Europe, most recently Corfu early last year. You simply don’t see that type of behaviour and unwanted attention being directed towards males or females.

Alas, some guys have no cop on.

And this is why I've avoided a certain naturist beach in sligo
