Completely agree. For us, it took many years of pillow-talk discussion, procrastination and eventually making the leap. For most Irish women in their forties, I think it can take years to overcome what society has dictated as normal and acceptable throughout our lifetime. I met the most incredible lady here and we just clicked so easily and naturally but to my own devastation l hesitated in sorting my own issues that needed to be sorted before going full on into a full time relationship and she moved on ,both of us would probably not be here now on this site had l done what l should have done but l did'nt and paid dearly for it, cant lie, the emotional pain was unreal, hit me like a freight train.

We bought a paperback book that discusses swinging or (the lifestyle) in some depth and talks about ways to approach it in an open discussion so that’s exactly what we did, it is a very slow journey that involves a lot of trust & respect from all parties involved but it’s amazing how it progresses from virtually nothing to a lot of fun on what ever level you are both comfortable with we have found... it is also a great laugh and fun for a couple we have found and it definitely keeps the spark in your relationship we believe

Less awkward i would imagine than if u lived in the same small town frequented the same pub etc...here u could break up and either revert to your old singles profiles or set up new ones and just blick each other so u dont know what the other is doing

Met my previous partner on here, it was obvious that it there was more than just a fab connection, so we decided to give a relationship the best chance we could and we both agreed to leave the lifestyle, we dated for roughly a year but it didn't work out,thankfully we're still friends today, she's back on here now on a single profile...

I didn't meet Tinkerbell on here but i was open about the lifestyle from the get go and thankfully she was open to the idea of experiencing and understanding more about it....

So here we are, planning for our future and finding our feet on here as a couple
