A nice simple one for you all..

What do you rather?

Cooking or Baking?

I rather to bake as I have a sweet tooth and love the end product!

Somewhere in Co. Down

I baked quite a lot years ago but just don't seem to have the time or inclination to anymore even though home baking tastes so much better.

So I guess I'd pick cooking over it nowadays.

I much prefer baking to cooking, there is so much more enjoyment tasting the end product and licking the bowl

Lemon drizzle cake would be one of my favourites

I much prefer cooking, suits my imprecise style. I can bake a few set pieces that I have practised many times - black forest brownies and pineapple drizzle cake being my go tos. But cooking just seems more intuitive to me and a lot less mess most of the time

I like both especially if doing it for someone else rather than just myself. I’m a great baker and used to bring a dessert or two to meets

I love both but better at cooking

Baking is a science......wrong measurements and wrong type ingredients it will not work

Cooking you can add or leave out ingredients to suit your tastes and still turn out

"Any good books for starting off with baking??"

Start off with something classic…any book from Mary Berry/Paul Hollywood/the Hairy Bikers/Rachel Allen.

There’s also some fantastic baking blogs including Irish ones.

Sugar Geek Show is a particular fav…her double choc chip cookies are epic!
