I have it but it's been sitting there for some time. I'm waiting for the annotised encloypedia to read along side it.

He uses a lot of references that need to be translated basically.

I'm going to take my time though, not worth my sanity lol! We shall see though

First three chapters twice and gave up. Try 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' - stuck with that though took me about 7 months. Still none the wiser at the end.

Same with Moby Dick. Two thirds of that can only be understood by a cetologist and it's hard work.

I don't think I've ever even attempted to read Ulysses, but I've a good friend who read it, if that counts. .

But I've read 'The Brothers Karamazov', just to throw in another big book and to show off a bit.
