Is there any way to block smokers??

I absolutely will not meet smokers, I’m an ex smoker and while I don’t care what others do to their bodies, I can’t stand the smell or taste of it. I say no smokers in my profile but recently have starting getting abuse now cos I won’t meet them.

Any tips!?

Even if you could block them, people often lie about it as they know others might prefer not to meet smokers... Kind of the same as people lying about their age, height etc!

I guess all you can do is ask and be very clear that it's a dealbreaker for you, along with liberal block button usage.

I have no issues with smokers or snogging them or whatever.

I do however think it has a serious impact on parties, a lot of people spend the night up and down the stairs/lift or out on the balcony.

Are smoker free parties the way forward?

It does smell, and taste

Worse than the fags in my opinion

One of the reasons I'm glad we are no longer in the office. Sickly sweet smell of the stuff wafting about as people refilling at their desks

Can't you do that yourself when you look at a profile to see if there's an interest?

And yes,some will lie and say they don't smoke,but you won't know that till you actually meet them,same as age height etc

I agree I'm not a fan of smoking but vaping I actually find worse .If you walk into a room where people are vaping it's like walking into a sickly sweet smelling cloud.

No, I probably wouldn’t. A FB of mine is similar, v rarely smokes and it’s cool. But the point is that you appreciate that people don’t like it. And you don’t lie to the people you’re meeting.

Why would you get abuse for not wanting to meet a smoker? I dont get it! They should realise people have preferences and if they dont fit into that then good luck with the rest of your fab journey. It's on your profile too! Why respond with abuse? What kind of tool does that?? Id see the fishnet picture and quit on the spot

I am a smoker and I fully respect anyone who does not want to meet up with one. Its the non smokers personal choice, no ifs, buts, or maybes. Personally I find people vaping more off putting.

What a sad fact, I've met men on here who state they are non smokers, but chuff them off like a train, but I state I'm a smoker an get umpteen messages from men who say they won't meet smokers, an when I queried it they say they don't mind, I rarely smoke before or on a meet, most I have met are convinced I don't smoke!!

To a couple of the comments I vape a blend called high tobacco aka it literally has no taste or smell!! Its not flavoured

Even non smokers can't pick it up!!

It’s really hard but worth every oz of effort. I did that book, Allan Carr? I topped it up with hypn0therapy. That worked for ages but I still craved them. Then I got pregnant and smoke was the most disgusting thing i could imagine. So I done then. I think hanging around with non-smokers helped break the habit too. Good luck tho, it’s not easy.

Ah it’s recently really... mostly new guys. Then 3 guys over the last few weeks messaged me and when I replied “Thanks but no thanks, I dont meet smokers” they reply with comments from “well you’re a skanky c*nt anyways” (a particular favourite) to “f*ck you you fat bitch”. I mean, I get those insults anyways and I just block but I suppose it’s frustrating when yer being straight.

Thanks for the reply! I couldn't read something by Alan Carr now, he drive me up the walls. I'd be a bit skeptical about the therapy method you mentioned too if I'm honest! I can't get pregnant either so that's another door closed! Yeah perhaps I need to make friends with a few non-smokers and go from there. I'll let you know how I get on!

As a life long non smoker, I wouldn't have any interest in meets with smokers or vapers, and yes I know this limits my options on here significantly. Smoking and vaping are really disgusting habits.
