But watched the voting, as you do, and really made my day when the brits got zero votes, not once but twice, however that works, don't know, just know they got fuck all, happy days, long live Europe, was that the name of the Dutch entry years ago

The public voted and Quelle Surprise the Switzer song lost,cos it was shite!

Can't believe it was even in the running.

There were much better songs, like Sweden, that should have been higher.

I voted for Italy 3 times and I'm delighted that they won

Well after we bowed out I thought Greece would have done a bit better but sure we all know it's not about the quality of the song anymore

My interest in, and awareness of, the Eurovision song contest petered out after Johnny Logan won it; which I think must be about 40 years ago.

Aside from Cliff Richard's entry, Congratulations, which must be over 50 years ago, the only other Eurovision entry I could name is:

"My Lovely Horse" that was done to death by Ted Crilly and Dougal Maguire.

And I think this would be true for a large percentage of Ireland's population!

And that was about 25 years ago, I think.
