Assuming sex is not available

What do you do when you need cheering up?

If you listen to music, what song is sure to do the job?

Newry Down

Long walks in forests, which the Japanese call 'forest bathing' are a superb way to build stamina and keep in touch with nature; I need to get a forest fix every day, rain or shine.

It's a great way to meet people too; I used to be a dog owner, and chatting with other owners or dog walkers is invariably pleasant.

I’d pick up a book or fire up the PlayStation and lose myself in different world. Head out to the garden, there is always something to be done here.

- Go for a long run or hike in the fresh air.

- Cook a meal from scratch and open that bottle of cheeky bottle of wine you’ve been saving for a ‘special’ ocassion.

- Take a midweek afternoon off from work to do something frivolous.

- A 12 hour sleep!

I go a walk everyday no matter the weather...

During this lockdown shit I have been playing lots of music....

As a teenager in mid-seventies I was a DJ in Hospital Radio & also Mobile at events for many years and so have built up a massive collection of vinyl records of over 15k 7" singles & over 5k Albums so I have set up decks in garage and have been playing music for hours on end...

Music brings back great memories of good and in fairness some sad too...
