I’ve had a car issue for ages but zero time or money or knowledge to sort it out. One 20-second rant to my lovely pal and he sorted it for me in a coupla days.

Mad some people don’t think you can make proper mates on places like this.

There’s a couple of fabbers that I count as close friends...known them a long time now and know they’d be there to help if I was in a pickle.

I think sometimes you can be more open with people you click with here than you can vanilla friends and that helps create a strong bond.

I was told by another fabber that people here aren't your friends and I'm glad to say that's untrue. I'm glad to say I can call a few on here good friends and one or two very good friends.

A lot say people on here you can't make real friends but like others who have commented on here I don't agree. I've made some amazing friends from fab and who I consider to be true friends in my life outside of fab also .

Some of my best friends are people I've met through fab and even though a lot of them are no longer on here we still keep in touch both individually and as a group.

There are friends still here that I trust completely and who have helped me through difficult days and I like to think I've done likewise for them.

I’ve made lots of lovely friends from here, you can find friends anywhere in life though I’ve found it harder in my 20’s and early 30’s I think it’s starting to get easier to make new ones as I get older.

Luckily I have known for a while that I have some very real friends here and as someone who has had a lot going on over the last few weeks. They have been there for me through it all and continue to check in and offer any help they can. I would be lost without them. So you can absolutely make some very genuine friends on fab.
