I'm just starting to look now at places to go for a night or two away. I haven't made up my mind yet where to go though. Just want somewhere nice and quiet to relax for a day or two .

Know what you mean. We booked last year and we know the owner from repeated stays so we got lucky... we looked at booking someone else too recently and the prices are crazybonkers.

Yeah i think well just save and well head for centre parcs next year. I know its expensive but were not planning on travelling abroad for a couple years anyway. 917 for 2 nights in a hotel in wexford is a complete damn rip off with food and activities to be paid on top of it. No thanks

(Corrected)

I think this is the time to spend our money in the country and keep a circular economy moving. Most countries will do, plus there’s so many gems to yet discover. Even one day trips can be extraordinary. I’ve seen photos of The Galtee Mountains and lake. Planning a full day exploration around there
