Hi wondering would anyone know is there customs on buying items on lovehoney or do lovehoney have the cost in total if that makes any sence.

Highly doubt they are showing costs including customs charges as they differ from country to country across the EU.

I know Amazon are now giving you an estimate on customs upfront but LH is nowhere near the same level of operation as that.

Customs and excise duty will apply...if over a certain amount, and it's a relatively small amount...under €30 and that includes the cost of shipping...

So do be careful, because even with the EU site, everything is shipped from the UK!

I have placed an order myself at the beginning of the year and got caught out!!!

Switch to the German Amazon and you don't need to pay import taxes, you might have to pay a delivery charge though

Lovehoney have EU site, which you should be automatically redirected to.

No extra charge on that.

Oh! If you find something that you like on Amazon, supplied by Amazon, under £20, you don't pay VAT, so get it for about £16.

Think it only works for Amazon Prime customer but I've been saving loads on albums on vinyl on it, amongst other stuff
