Weekdays we were only allowed cornflakes but at the weekend we'd go wild for Frosties.

somewhere

My favourite was when my mother would buy the little kellogs multipack as a treat

The only downside was my two older brothers got their favourites before me but I got mine before my younger brothers

Frosties for me. Would often get a tummy ache on the way to school but wouldn't tell my parents as they would stop buying them.

Yeah that was the only way you could get your hands on Puffa Puffa Rice too, in the mini boxes

I was odd, I loved Grape Nuts (savoury) can't find them anymore either

As a child, I loved corn flakes, no sugar or anything on them

I never like milk on its own so always eaten them without. Just adding some seasonal fruits from the orchard or from the pantry

Great memories!

These days sugar is added to everything and the taste of ever the cheapest cornflakes isnt the same like it was a long long long time ago...

Golden Nuggets

I was devastated when they stopped making them, when I was around 5.

They were these Huge Golden Nuggets that tasted OH SO GOOD....

Imagine my surprise when they started manufacturing them again a few years ago.

I bought a packet and they are tiny and vile, they more than likely always were I don't think they changed them.
