So, I've been chatting to a couple for some time (Good people) and we've gotten along quite well.

We've shared all sorts of pictures and talked about everything under the sun.

So, today I was asked to send face. I've no problem with this and so I did, they weren't local so all is good... or so I thought

Turns out they know me. Not sure how well but it's enough to put a pause to things.

Now I'm like, shit. My business is out there and someone I know has seen every bit of me, and yet I don't know who

I'm laughing about it at the moment , it is what it is but there is a little worry there.

Has this ever happened to you before? Curious to hear your experience

You're a young man and there's no shame to you being on here so i wouldnt worry about that

I presume its a full stop to planning a meet and did you ask them how did they know you

If they know you do you know them? Did they send their faces? If they are genuine, surely they'd say how they know you to reassure you?

Wouldn't be shame no but just the awkwardness of not knowing who saw all of me etc lol

They said they knew me from jobs I done etc. So likely someone I've done work for

Im very weary of this happening thats why im very reluctant to send face pic much rather meet face to face first off then both parties in same boat if you know each other

My rule is whoever asks for a face pic should send theirs first of someone asks me for one but doesn't send theirs I won't send one.

It's done now tho and hopefully all is grand. It hasn't happened to me on here, yet anyhow.

Yea happened me, chatting for few weeks and she asked for a face pic I said fine and then she called me by my first name, took her ages to send me a pic and when she did, I did not know her from Adam, never seen her before, turns out she from the same town I grew up in but she was 8/9 years younger than me.I had left the town when I was 17

Well they asked and we were chatting for a while so didn't think to ask first Exactly lol and they're private to so I'm sure all is G !

Wouldn't worry about it, your young and single exploring life and they are here too. Majority of people are here for fun and no drama.

Yeah I got caught with this recently by a woman who said she knew me from my local and didn’t want to complicate things , I will be paranoid when the pubs are reopened but shit I have to get mine and so did she /they . I won’t lose sleep over it , we are all here for one reason
