It has become a very unpleasant place to be at.

Its time to call it a truce.

Love this idea and thanks so much for sharing. I certainly do apologize to the people having to witness my updates but I’m not going to sit back and be targeted by the mafia of some women on here. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I’m not here to make pals , i have loads in my private life. Im here to enjoy myself and have fun. That’s what this is all about.

I agree its been horrible to see what people are saying about others in status updates. We all have been targets of nasty comments at some stage and reporting and blocking just doesn't cut it anymore. Whatever happened to just having fun and a laugh here. This should be a place to meet new people and enjoy each other and not somewhere to tear people down. I am thankful for those here that make me glad that I stayed. X

Actions speak louder than words though especially when people are only paying lip service.

There have been numerous threads with people coming out in support of others and saying we should all be shiny happy people but are nowhere to be seen when the shit hits the fan.

There are more Pennies than the Trevi Fountain. Two faced and of little value.

For an adult site there are an awful lot of dummies being spat out recently.

The seesaw and Monkey bars out in the back garden were bangered so i though it was time to invest in some new over priced garden play crap for the kids.

I thought to myself..."A fab swingset" was needed and googled it. The interweb would show me the way and sort me out as the lazy ass shopper that I am. I took a wrong turn obviously

One day a single guy and an old man were walking through a village with their donkey/unicorn.

The Single guy rode and the old man watched.

As they went along they passed some people who remarked it was a shame the old man was watching and the Single guy was riding.

The Old man and Single guy thought maybe the Keyboard/potential meet critics were right, so they changed positions.

A short time later, they passed some more critics that remarked, "What a shame, he makes that single guy watch while he rides.

They then decided they both would watch the donkey ride on its own bareback!

Soon they passed even more critics who thought they were stupid to watch when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both decided to ride the donkey.

Now they passed even more critics (this place had alot of critics) that shamed them by saying "How awful to put such a cumload on a poor donkey".

The single guy and old man said they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey.

As they crossed a bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and fell into the river and drowned.

The moral of the story...

If you try to please everyone in Fab,

Well, we here are willing to forgive the vague statuses aimed at us, the forum threads started about us, the attempts to sabotage our events, the catfishing of us by various dummy profiles run by well known Fabbers, the abusive messages, the report bombing of one of our single profiles leading to its deletion with no explanation, and, of course, the threats of violence against us sent via messaging apps and here.

We've heard it all before, as has anyone who has been active in this community as long as we have.

If you're an event organiser you've absolutely experienced this things, it's notoriously difficult to remain in everyone's good graces if you're hosting safe, reputable events.

I'd also like to point out that some events have been doing their best, at great personal cost, to wait out the pandemic and not put others at risk.

Killing Kittens, and the Vanilla Club spring immediately to mind but there have to be more I'm sure....

Please remember these events when we DO reopen folks, they took an enormous financial hit in order to keep our community safe and well during these trying times, at the eventual reopening of our society we should strive to flood these places with enough sex and debauchery so as to put the Marquis De Sade himself to blushing.

To return to the theme of the thread (sorry for vying off track Red!) we here tend to lean toward the JFK school of thought on the matter;

We have only ever fallen out with one couple about 3 years ago on here.. i do regret it slightly but he was being completely unfair about something unrelated to us but I just couldn’t help myself. I learned so much from it and wowed it wouldn’t happen again.

Thankfully it was a learning experience and considering all the people we have met over the years both as attendees and organizers of events i think its a pretty good result.

While we are mending bridges and moving on....

My single male profile was initially banned from the forums indefinitely.

No reason, explanation or engagement with they who issued the ban was given.

That same profile was then suspended. Essentially deleted from the site. Again, no reason, explaination or engagement with those who made this decision was given.

I mailed various mods and attempted to contact the site owners. No response or engagement was provided.

Excuse me for veering off track, but, that profile (and this one) are genuine, well maintained and well known. As most of us can attest to, meets are generally fielded by one's reputation. Both of these profiles are also fully paid site supporters.

To render people's paid for, hard won profiles and reputation null and void, without justification, explaination or dialogue is nothing short of robbery, in my humble opinion.

If Mods and the site owners are going to exercise their power here as wantonly as they do, they need to both be contactable and accountable for their decisions and actions.

We all know modding is a thankless and tiresome job, but we as site members and paid supporters should be entitled to answers regarding decisions and actions taken on our profiles.

Just my two cents.

I'm new enough here to still be joining the dots....

Someone reported my profile at the weekend, made me laugh that they didn't have enough about them to contact me directly.

At the end of the day its just People being People.

Ive been in and out of swinging for nearly 35 years (for any of you who watch countdown in the afternoon and are know furiously doing the Math, Im actually 52)

This is my first experience of "forums"

I've used the Intraweb for years for swinging but never been on any forums.

I think on the whole they are a good thing, I've met a ton of people on here that I would like to go for a drink, a meal and then maybe something else after....

People who make me laugh and seem for all intents and purposes genuine.

Much better than realising as you shoot your load you the only thing you had in common was that you briefly found each other attractive enough to fuck and are now both (or more) looking for the door.

Had loads of that over the years.....

I'm surprised that people are surprised by the amount of arguing on here, at the end of the day the only thing a lot of us have in common is that we like a certain type of sex.

If anyone picks up on anything I say or do on the forums and joins the dots, You are wrong!

I am here primarily to make a tit out of myself and have a laugh, if anyone want to join in having a laugh then great.

Am I the only person who doesn't think we should kiss and make up. If I dislike someone for whatever reason then they can rot for all I care. I hold a grudge I even hold grudges for friends if they dislike someone then I do too

. I used to block people but now I just use notes that way people don't know I have them banned from events they just get told no. If I see them do something bad at a party ( non consent touching , stealthing getting aggressive , starting fights etc) or has a history of bad behaviour I'll let other event organisers know just so they are aware of this persons behaviour. There is no making up after you've fucked up with me

Well said OP. Having been a victim of the forums last year, I hid my profile for a long time and didnt contribute to the forums because of the bullying crap that went on. I watched all the crap that went on over the last few weeks here. Didnt comment in a positive or negative way but still got a pm telling me to mind my own bloody business. When I pointed out what I actually said , I was blocked by this person. We are never all going to agree with each other on the forums but as adults surely we can refrain from slagging each other.

Also just read that a popular forumite has left. What a pity as I found him to be a real nice cool guy who tried to put a smile on everyones face daily. Hail Hail K.

Jeez sorry to hear that you were being bullied here last year mate, its awful to think that we try to teach kids to be good and teach them about bullying and just how wrong it is because anyone who has ever been on the receiving end of it knows that's its hurtful and really not a nice place to be.

Tbh I have no idea what went on here last week nor last year with you and you know what,I think I prefer not knowing cause I just don't want to get involved. I make my judgement on a person over a period of time rather than just one incidence. And you know anyone can do something stupid or silly and if someone has something to say then they can sbs a pm saying... look that was a pretty stupid thing you did and leave it at that, and it's up to the Preston to put their hand up and say yeah it was stupid in sorry.

I just don't think there's any need for it and from my experience here most ppl seem to have their head screwed on and pretty sound. But saying that there are lots of ppl on here and some are bound to bump heads from time to time do it's up to us as adults to bite or tongues and take a step back before pouncing on someone.

I’m just really confused. I missed like two days of forums and thought they had really calmed down this week till I saw this thread "

The Witch Hunt (AND Warlock Hunt, less I be accused of sexism and recieve a ban) is ongoing.

Oh wait... Sorry - I forgot we're not allowed criticise the mods or ANY action they take or we get banned.

Allow me to correct; it's not a witch hunt... It's the mods protecting everyone's interest to ensure we all have a good time... By banning and suspending profiles on the back of baseless allegations made by unicorns.

Because, after all, how dare we risk losing our rarest resource.

A couple of points

Mods do not type for people

If a post that is posted by the poster themselves breaks rules it will get a person banned from the forum.

Forum mods only deal with forum bans, any suspensions are dealt with by Admin themselves

Discussing bans is not allowed on the forum

Attacking mods for applying the rules is not allowed on the forum

Mods do not need to live in a certain part of the country to apply the rules. the rules are the same for everyone

If you want Admin to change the rules for you you would need to ask Admin from the contact link

If you want to dispute a ban you have received you need to use the same contact link rather than the forum
