Always have my place to myself, living alone doesn’t mean you’re alone, just allows you to have the company you like whenever you like

somewhere

I've gone away and stayed in a hotel just to get a break from a mad house in the last few months

Normally get at least a week in the summer and a few days at Christmas when everyone else is away but didn't happen for obvious reasons

Fair play OP for lasting the distance on your own... I couldn't do it. I've had socially distanced coffee with friends and a few here too... I need that interaction but your distancing for the sake of others is admirable

in the waves

I love living alone. Obviously the last year has been a bit much isolation wise, but I can be social if I want to be.

I look forward to being able to go back to the office though, for a change of scenery during the week.

Same! Have lived alone for four years now, usually love it but it's very isolating in lockdown, especially because I work from home! I've gone weeks without seeing anyone at times.
