Feeling grateful

Jump to newest

OK so it's been a long strange year and for a lot of people it has been a struggle.

I have been keeping a gratitude journal and try and use it daily and some days I do struggle to find something to be grateful for but there is always hope and light in life its just realising it

So let's spread a bit of positivity name 2 things you are grateful for today

1) good friends

2) a nice cup of tea

It's been a nightmare past year and a huge struggle at times to motivate yourself to do anything. A bit of decent weather and some lifting of restrictions might hopefully inject a bit of positivity though I'm not holding my breath on teh latter. Two things I'm grateful for...

- I still have my job. I'm getting by comfortably enough at the minute.

- I have some great places nearby to head out for a stroll and take the dog along

Life has taught me to be grateful for friends, family and health.

The last year has taught me to be grateful for bogroll and Netflix.

My introverted lifestyle - I’ve always seen it as a drawback but it has proved useful in the last year.

I am grateful for my job which has kept me from going demented.

And more importantly, my friends in my bubble - always there for each other for kicks up the arse when down & the craic for happiness....priceless

Jeez I don't know folks like I know this lockdown has been difficult but I've been having a blast. I'm actually worn out from all the exercise I'm getting and feel fit as a fiddle all the while getting paid from my job. Life is great really if they could just give us an extra few klms radius, well that would be just dandy.

So 2 things in grateful for are...

1. My job

2. The beach

Nice OP.

Being grateful helps us to see life through a prism.

Mine are

1. The ability of a positive approach to life, even when it proves to be so challenging at times.

2. Without health I couldn't do anything. Grateful for my good health.

C'est moi Boudoir

Great post.

My tenacity, has been tried and tested a few times over the last year but I'm still standing and my connections - no matter how big or small, they are all great and keep me going.

Cheers to reconnecting when we get through this.

Somewhere in Co. Down

I've been grateful for quite a bit recently especially great friends and family who have been there when some days have been really crappy .They have made me smile on days when all I felt like doing was cry and I don't think they realise how much they have helped in the last year and how grateful so am for them .

I've been lucky enough to be working all the way through but glad to have days off especially days like today when the weather has been gorgeous and I can just hang about with my animals and enjoy the longer days.

Also family and getting a job not long before all this kicked off. A real stroke of luck.

Also looking forward to 5 days off over Easter and hopefully the weather is good so I can make a better job of outside before the summer scorcher we're due kicks in.

Is it coming? Of course it is!

We'll be locked down until August so you know that the weather up until then will be fabulous
