Hi all, just a heads up the the HSE is reopening the sh24.ie scheme for phase 2 tomorrow.

The scheme offers free at home STI testing to all via its website sh24.ie. The test kit screens for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis and HIV.

I got the test kit last time and it was convenient, discreet and super fast. I'd 100% recommend it!

Good to know! Used to get tested very often but obviously can't wait the pandemic. I did get a free at home one in September too. Very easy to use

Thanks for the heads up

"You have to have sex in order to run the chance of getting a sti or needing a test. "

Right now is actually a great time to get tested for this reason!

They advise you wait 3 months from exposure to be tested for blood borne infections like HIV, hepatitis and syphilis.
