Would you like to be famous?

So, as the questions put, would you?

I don't think it would ever happen to me but it's a fun thought to entertain.

It would certainly open many doors, but it would close a lot too.

You're private life is no longer private, you'll be critizied a lot more and you'll possibly fall out of touch with every day things. But you'll likely be rich, be able to get what you want and have people lusting over you.

Personally, although it would be fun for a short while I don't think I'd like to be famous, based on who I am as a person.

So Fabbers, what are your thoughts?

No, I'd hate the attention and lack of freedom that comes with it

The money would be nice though!

Fame would be a nightmare; life below the radar and working on what I value is the route to peace and contentment.

I pray that I don't get murdered. As much for the digging the media would do as absolutely not wanting to be murdered! We are a bunch of indecent individuals once exposed

Absolutely not, I am allergic to people being over-familiar with me so I think being famous would be my nightmare. Everyone would feel they knew you and you'd have no privacy.

This

I like my life. I've no reason to add to it with a market of false praise. I'm.lucky that I don't give a number two.

Not for me either! I couldn’t cope with people knowing my every move, what I’m doing where I’m going who I’m with!

But ask bogman what it’s like... after all he’s famous

Not for me...I'm happy plodding along doing what I want when I want...

I run an Events & exhibitions company and have worked over the years(incl in Ireland) with some "very famous people" and the constant scrutiny they live under is unbelievable to witness....I would hate that every day of my life

South Dublin Area

I wouldn’t

But famous people can become anonymous look at Keanu Reeves or Bruce Springsteen, they are renowned for going about their days like nobodies.

Eminem practically disappeared for about 10 years and no one bothered him.

I wouldn’t like it. I’d be way too grumpy and irritable. I’m bad enough on the front as a nobody!

Hell

Sometimes I think I'd like it but I'd definitely be one of those "can't cope with the fame" basket cases. I do love a bit of attention though haha
