Loyalists withdrawing support

Anyone read the article by RTE in which loyalists stated they are withdrawing there support for the Good Friday Agreement?

Things have only gotten better since, that's for sure but not without its faults.

I'm just hoping nothing comes of it. I've family up North. The GFA needs to remain.

Bit political I know but would like to hear your thoughts

It's a catch 22 situation.. Loyalists have real grievances.. Their links with UK are being eroded as they see it.. If NI is part of the UK then there should be no checks at ports and no tariffs on goods from mainland UK.. The alternative is a hard border and nobody wants that.. NI is a real problem child that just won't grow up..

They vote for Brexit, get shafted in the negotiations by the british government and blame the South and the EU

Agreed. But no we have Brexit, and with covid tensions are at an all time high. There needs to be some resolve

We voted by quite a margin in Northern ireland to remain. Obvs cause we only wee wasnt a drop on Englands vote.

Hope there is no truth to it. I hate any form of tension up here. It's bad craic
