So has anyone ever had a book they just couldn't put down?

People are gonna laugh but mine was Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, ha.

It was a real "whodunit" read, just had to find out who was behind it all. Never had that with any other book to date.....

The Da Vinci code

Love getting a book that I literally need to read in one sitting.

Last book I read was Crowded House by Frank McGreaney. Read it in two days

Read the DaVinci code too, it was super. Much better than the film, which was kinda forgettable, even though I love Tom Hanks

Can I suggest Stephen Pressfields "gates of fire" or "tides of war"

Similar writing style to Igguldens

I almost missed a flight reading HP - order of the Phoenix.... was reading them in advance of my kids... that one had me absolutely in shreds.

But Life of Pi was one that had me engaged.

Funny on of the other responses was Correli’s Mandolin... brought back I had that one as real page turner.

Good topic... I’ve been seeking new books... thanks for those in the thread with suggestions.

It was a bit bleak like something written by Dickens and was almost like someone was talking down to you all the time. I get that enough at home. And was it a novel or an autobiography I wasn't sure.

Love the show but books are on completely different level. Read all when I was a teenager and decided to read them again last year, 8 books in less than two months. Bruxa was giving out to me but I just couldn't stop

The Hot Zone by Michael Crichton. Actually restricted the number of pages I read to make it last.

Just started reading Trevor Noah: Born a Crime. Autobiograpgy on when he was growing up in South Africa.

Great read and crazy what went on after apartheid ended, I thought when it did, all was hunky dory, shows what I know!!!!!

He puts such a funny spin on it so you're actually laughing even though it was horrible. Only put it down cause wanna read it sparingly otherwise I coulda said I found another book I read the whole way through, ha
