Best coffee machine

Can someone point me in the way of a good coffee machine, currently using dolce gusto that takes pods. Would love a proper machine

I got a sage barista last year and find it very good and easy to use. It takes a bit of practice to get the grinding right and to get the milk frothing right. Plenty of tutorials online too to help.

DELONGHI Dedica EC685BK. Got one at Xmas. Takes a day or two to get the right strength for your preference. Takes ground coffee and it's about 200 euro. Any I looked at that grinds bean for you will be double the cost for a decent quality machine. We absolutely love the coffee from this

Got a bean to cup, delonghi dinamica.

Was using a tassimo, but going through pods like mad, was working out dear with all the pods being used while wfh

We have a nespresso machine that takes pods. Its great but some pods vary in quality.. lor and lavazza seem to be the best.. we are definitely going to invest in a proper coffee machine...very expensive though..

yeah i would love to get a proper machine like we have in work but very expensive. You can buy the pods on amazon that fit nespresso and they are a fraction of cost of nespresso ones. And taste just as good

I have a Krups bean to cup - very expensive, but i got it on sale... Worth every penny ...i love it

I think the model is an evidence?

It's a great looking machine

DiLonghi makes good bean to coffee machines. EUR30 for a kg of coffee? That’s insane . We consider 15 as expensive that’s why we import it from Holland for EUR 7-9 per kg

The difference between the two is the milk, the espresso would be the same for both either 1 or 2 shots usually. Some machines will have a steamer for the milk so you can make both lattes and cappuccinos

What ever happened to buying jars of coffee and make your own in lockdown i have been out walking and you meet loads of people walking with cup of coffee is this cool now i wonder or just some celebrity doing it that people seen

I Googled the machines above.. They all look great and while not cheap they are not crazy money... The one we have in work is a two cup machine and cost over 2k!! But these are not too bad.... I want upgrade my nespresso so definitely looking into the ones mentioned ... Thanks for the tips

No it's the convenience

Every shop or petrol sells coffee and most people now walk with their friends to chat 2m apart as they can't visit their house for a coffee

The shops make a fortune out of it....i believe including the cup its less than 20 cent a cup so it's going to be presented well to keep the sales up

Don't forget a market was created for bottled water in one of the wettest countries in Europe and yet peoole wouldn't pay water charges

We have had Saeco and Phillips in the office...makes 20 cups a day at least and last 4 years both bullet proof. Don't go for all the milky contraptions as the wreck them..buy a good frother...kildare village is where I've always bought mine..home and cook

Got it on Black Friday for £170 from AO about 3yrs ago. It's in daily use probably 10 cups a day.

6 X 1kg bags of Lavazza from Amazon for around £60.

Best coffee ever and we've had Siemens, Morphy Richards and Gaggia before, mostly ground coffee machines.

Yes the bean to cup are more expensive machines but we think they're definitely worth it

Model we have is Caffè Corso ESAM 2600.

Probably superceded now.

This seems to be current version but I'd wait to see if there are Easter sales with bigger reductions

I got a melitta its really good can have 2 different type of beans in it which is handy if 2 people like different coffees

Got a Delonghi Magnifica at Christmas and it's fantastic. Bean to cup coffee maker...my Nespresso machine has been taken out of service.

Any of the sage machines are good, but pricey.

I got a chemex a while back, it's cheap and cheerful and you can mix and match which coffee you like. I find the filtering kind of therapeutic

Love my Moka Pot and buy my ground beans locally. Fantastic supplier. Environmentally friendly. But I am considering getting machine to make flat white etc.
