Handiest way is probably on Revolut simce most people already use it. Just click into WealthCrypto tab, and you can buy a number of currencies.

You don't actually own bitcoin through revolut just the value at the time. You can set up an account on coinbase and buy it there.

Also the fees revolut charge are scandalous.

Mine has dropped by €2100 in the last 10 days... might sell if it drops to a certain level...

Then invest again.

I would suggest OP that maybe finding out what cryptocurrency actually is and researching what you are actually planning to do with it and going from there. I wouldnt blindly go into something without knowing what its actually all about especially if you plan on parting with money

Never invest with money you can't afford to lose.

Always buy the dip.

Definitely. Approach cryptocurrencies as like a weekend at Cheltenham

I originally bought one litecoin at 40 quid sold it for 90 just before Xmas. Has climbed since even as far as 200 hundred but dropped to 136 this week. If it drops below 100 may buy one again and let it sit.

Do not buy shares or crypto currency if you know nothing about shares or crypto currency

westmeath & roscommon.

Why sell to make 50e. Would you not just leave it for a decade to see how much it could rise to.

I could have have bitcoins at 100e . I was getting advised to buy as much as I could afford and leave it for a few years to see what happens even if it dips. One of lives regrets.

I had a look at the Pi which is a new one. Not released yet but invited into it.

It will be a long term investment I think.

As above for sure... kikn myself didnt buy when in china..seen the fekn vending machines with chinese queuing at the time n said to myself a bleeding gimmick... was $20 dollars at the time..

So yea horses for courses..worth a punt in early days before everyone knew about it.. heinsight is great .. So go throw few quid on the 3 legged horse at this stage but could collapse overnight if corrupt authorities (Russia) decide to tap it with electro pulse to servers..

Then again some say it will reach 150k per coin.. Elon musk put lot over 1 billion into it lately but lost 10 billion over night in ventures.. so ifya have it to throw away or as above say to chance a punt fire away.. advices are exactly that advices..

Exactly, I answered earlier.

Instal Revolut, click on Wealth, and click on Crypto. You can then purchase it through funds in your Revolut account. I dont know how much more specific you want.

As other people have said, it's not the best way as there are fees. But creating a Bitcoin wallet can be fairly complicated, so if you just want to play around with crypto, Revolut is fine.

To be fair, it can be quite daunting at first. As there are so many different ways, and so many different opinions online. But just pick one and give it a go.

Or if you just want to play around with stock, download Trading 212. You can select the Practice Mode, where you play around with fake money, using real world stock prices, to get some practice before risking actual money.

"Is it any reason some people need to b blocked . Dtupid people"

Did you want someone to set up an investment account for you, deposit their own cash into and manage some investments for you?

You've got plenty of friendly and helpful advice already and with enough detail for you to now go do your own research

I lost a considerable amount too but they're coming back up very slowly.

I actually bought more when they dropped.

They're a good moneymaker and I find Coinbase the best for trading.

I use binance. It's great for latest figure but the cashing out is awkward. I've traded Bitcoin, Etherium and DogeCoin for the fun!

Don't go in with money you need and be responsible

Does Coinbase have any extra fees, or require you to set up an external Botcoin wallet on your laptop to transfer the coin to? I know you say theres a YouTube video, but I'm in work and curious now

If you are, wait till it drops to 0.04 that way you won't really lose anything. It fluctuates a lot and may not hit a large amount but it's sure worth trying. I would use coinbase if I were you also, it's simpler. Everything is explained. And setting up a bitcoin wallet wasn't as hard as everyone made it out to be

The fees for stock seem very reasonable, I used it a lot over the last year to invest regularly in Amazon, Microsoft, Apple , Tesla and Facebook and had no issues....what are the fees for buying and selling crypto ?

You’re as safe on Revolut as any other platform , it’s an unregulated market and wallets can be stolen
