Why do you think we were afforded such a name back in the day?!

Well we were originally called Hibernia due to our winter like climate and harsh terrain at the time so maybe 'Ire' came from the fact we were always miserable and angry about the shitty weather? Ha

They landed in a place with a strong local accent and the villagers told them to fuck off and said " This isn't Ur Land it's Ire Land."
