Won't name the person but after a very bad few weeks and especially this week, been let down by people I thought were friends. I had a lovely phone call with a fabber this morning and it has made me smile fir the first time in a while. Thanks x

Friends are important.... especially true friends. You will always know your true friends when you’re in need. They will be there no matter what.

I had a ‘friend’ for 35 years and he was always there for me. One night, out of the blue he told me to F off as he was sick of me and wanted nothing to do with me ever again. He also lost most of his other friends as well.

Anyway, on a serious note if anyone is feeling down or in need of someone to chat to please feel free to message me. Totally discreet and no strings attached. Just a friendly chat to vent, complain or ask for advice.

Had a friend (who I thought of so much I put them in my will) , ditch me when I was terrified of going into hospital. That shit hurts twice as bad. Sod them.

Honestly I wouldn't say I have virtual friends on here,But I do have a caring soul and to stand beside you by saying your not the only one that has been let down by so called friends,distant myself from them fado fado,a lending ear when it suited them and not reciprocated,yes I travel many a dark road but meet strangers along the way,with age comes wisdom,Happy you had a call from a person that made you smile today

Hope you’re ok DD. It’s shit when you’re let down by ‘friends’. Sometimes the real friends are those you don’t see, speak to or confide in, in person... I’ve found a lot of friends on fab, I can trust them more than my friend of 17 years. stay strong x
