I don't judge people on here for what they do, but at least be honest about it... instead of spewing covid diarrhea from their mouth giving out about people meeting while doing it privately themselves ive more respect so to speak to those who are honest they are meeting..

I'd distinguish between partying and meeting one on one. The first is just utterly disrespectful to say the least. The later depends on the circumstances. Not knowing those how can I judge?

Sure we all have broken restriction rules one way or the other over the covid time.

Lot depends on what meeting is? I've had a few coffee meets.. Socially distanced, etc for the most part and it was fine. We need something to look forward to these days. Full on play meets might be a different thing though.. For the time being anyway

If it inadvertently caused the death of someone then yes damn right I'd judge

However I personally feel there is a difference between meeting a trusted play partner than putting up status updates to meet random strangers

It's been a long year for everyone and I'm very lucky that I'm not single but people should be responsible for their actions

I agree with this.

It doesn't bother me what others do. Everyone is an adult and will make up their own mind about what they do.

Exactly... Grabbing a coffee with someone that lives nearby and going for a walk is very different to a party... Common sense has to prevail....

There's people that will always put themselves first in every situation in life. That's just the way they are. They wont make any apologies for it. In alot of situations they are right because they get what they want. I personally dont like people like this.

I met someone a while back, asked her to verify me, because we all know its hard to get a meet if your not verified,, she wouldn't verify me because she didn't want people to know we met during covit

There's a huge difference between blatant disregard for restrictions and taking the occasional calculated risk for the sake of your own sanity. We should be able to respect each other as adults just making our own best decisions in a crazy time.

Hi, I work in a hospital. It’s on a campus with another hospital where two staff have died since Christmas Eve after contracting COVID while looking after patients, the second only last weekend. This virus is potentially fatal. We’re all exhausted.

I don’t judge anyone but please inform yourself of the risks to yourself and to your family.

I’ll leave it there.

"Should we or do we even have the right to judge people that are still meeting up during all this shite "

Looking for intimate meets falls outside the guidance so will remain a breach of Fab terms of conditions. If you are following the government advice, you will not be in breach of Fab terms and conditions. This will continue to be the case as the government updates their advice. We do not plan to re-open the various meets/clubs sections of the site until government advice is that intimate/close contact meets with strangers are within the guidelines.

Coronavirus has not gone away. All governments advise to stay alert and minimise contact with others. The best way to do this is staying home.

I think this might answer your question

It's up to each individual to decide what is right for them, and not really anyone else's business. That said, however, until people follow the guideline to isolate as much as possible we will be stuck with this virus and the lock-down that comes with it. Every individual has a part to play in how long these lock-downs will last - you make your own decision, and live with the consequences.

The only real hypocrisy in all this is those who won't follow the guidelines, thereby perpetuating the problem, and then bitch about the lock-down.

As I said before there is a difference between bubbling with someone but these are from couples & blokes just randomly looking for hookups. Vile behaviour that is contributing to the WHOLE Country being kept in lockdown.

I could easily say we are all responsible adults so should be able to make our own decisions.

However it's pretty obvious that some have no sense of personal responsibility.

We have all had to make sacrifices and using the lame excuse that we have to meet for the sake of our mental health just doesn't cut it when it has a knock on effect.

Mental health is a serious issue but some people dilute it and have a knack of playing that card when they run out of excuses.

I have a child now two years into counselling for several serious mental health issues. I had to hold her while she wept yesterday when she learned that she won't be back at school until at least after Easter. This when she is already hanging by a thread. Yet still we persevere. I have nightmares about her killing herself. And as her mother, her problems are also mine. The weight of that is sometimes unbearable. Yet still I persevere. I crave MY mother to hold me while I cry yet still I persevere.

The idea that people continuing to flout the restrictions is none of my business sticks in my throat. We all have a duty to be both personally AND socially responsible in the current situation

It's a very simple equation, in any context both fab related and normal life. The more people you interact with other people the higher the risk of spreading it, the more it spreads the longer the restrictions will need to be in place, the longer the restrictions are in place the more peoples mental and physical health suffers and more business go under. So every person still meeting does impact all of us hence it's all our business so we can't just say it's none of our business. I have lost several friends who were front line medical workers who took all the precautions but still caught it so personally I think we need to really lock down for a short period of time not this half arsed lockdown that people are flaunting which will keep extending if people don't cop on.

I'm thankful for those who have come out with logical arguments. Those who have said what I wanted to. Read some posts in this topic earlier, had to step away, count to 10(more 1,000,010).

"I'm breaking restrictions/recommendations for my mental health". That's lovely. Go knock yourself up. Mental health of the savagely under pressure health service none of your problem? Mental health of the family of the person you killed or gave long lasting health problens to, none of your problem? Uh huh.Go knock yourself up.

"there's no law against it" right... Those fines, court appearances and sentences are just fiction.. Go knock yourself up...

"it's only a flu/has a 99% survivability rate" wow. Thank you for your years of medical and scientific research. Congrats on the "research" you did to prove the experts wrong. Well done. Go knock yourself up.

"it's the government's fault". There's a fuckton we can blame them for. Easing restrictions to soon, letting anyone into the country, etc. But does that mean we can ignore the worldwide advice on what we should do versus what we want to do? Hmm.if only we'd had stronger leadership. New Zealand anyone?

Have i been personally affected by this? Yes. My mental health has suffered massively. Physical/mental health of family and coworkers too. Am I breaking out for my needs? Nope. Not even in my last relationship. I'm not arranging a dental appointment in another country either.

The more people think of themselves, the more the rest of us suffer and for longer.

Thanks to those playing the game. Thanks to those kerping the spirits up.

Feel free to bitch at me. Please block me. I'll lose terrible sleep over it...

Rant over.

Wtf Zeta, you have a seriously ill father and you are having solo meets. Are you mad?

I can tell you how Covid is affecting people, its Killing them!!!

Yes, I sympathise with your family situation but lots of people are in equally horrible positions but they aren't going out shagging for a break!

I hope your dad gets well but fuck me stop taking unnecessary risks, bubbles are supposed to be singular "

Last opinion on this.

People here that think two grown up adults meeting up for company is wrong that's sad .

But you'll all send ur children back to school to sit with 10 to fifteen children from different household's

And please children don't understand about social distance lol

I'm leaving this thread now cause the hiprecray on here is unreal.

"Ive also stuck to a lot of rules". Picking and choosing which rules suit you isn't what will get us out of this. Having bubble buddies when no contact outside you're own house is permitted, isn't going to get us out of this. Hypocrisy?

To follow the rules properly and behave is hypocrisy? No.

New Zealand and a few other places had it right. Still do. Selfish attitudes keep up continually locked down again and again. Not confined to Ireland.

I don't judge people for meeting/not meeting but I dislike people pretending they met by webcam when in fact they met in full. We're not fools.

A major reason why covid numbers are so high because people are meeting on the sly.. If we all stuck to the rules we would be back to normal no restrictions but people are arseholes and will do whatever they want
