I'm so curious, people who send friend requests to people they've never even spoken to, are ye expecting it to be accepted or just chancing your arm hoping it might be?

Id say its defo this and as the saying goes, there is no harm in asking. I prefer to chat a good while before excepting friend requests.

Better yet, wait until they're offline, accept the request, have a hawk at all their friends only, then block them

Haha, the same here. I can feel them sitting there, it’s like those pesky app notifications.

Id never send a friend request if I haven't atleast messaged each other. But question whens ok to request? Or is it best when chatting to ask if its OK to? I never know whens the right time

They do it all the time I put it down to arrogance and instant block they have no manners when it comes to this especially when it's in your propile of don'ts, shows lack of respect and may I add its mostly single males that's doing it instant block

I rarely get random friend requests from people I've never spoken to but in the last month I've had 5 and all well verified couples. Haven't accepted any of them. If they're too lazy to even send a message they don't get the key to the inner sanctum.

If I’ve been chatting to a profile for a bit and it’s going well I’d ask if it was ok to send a friend request

Most are just chancing their arm for their wank bank we find. We just block them as clearly never read our profile. Can see others using random friend invites as a way to stroke their egos. Whatever floats your boat I guess

Somewhere in Co. Down

I only accept requests if I've chatted to someone for a while. The ones I don't accept I let them sit there for ages and just bulk delete every so often

Quick pro tip:

Accept friend requests when senders are offline. Look at their photos then unfriend them

I do the exact same thing.

Also I've hit "send friend request" by accident a few times when sending a wink so maybe some are also sent by accident?
