"Are you thinking of having one Yeah, that's the plan. We're both up for it but we reckon some friends might find it awkward being there. We've missed so many celebrations this last year so it'll be kinda like a final blow out. " Ah, you mean a party together.... Then noooo, I definitely couldn’t do that.... I’d have to have solicitors, barristers and judges present I’d say.... But fair play to you both, and to anyone else who could manage to be able to do something like that....

"I went to one this time last year actually. It was great fun. Especially cos I set them up in the first place. Aam so impressed that they made such an effort to be amicable and with two kids, it’s made everything easier. He actually moved back in to a granny flat over lockdown so they could share childcare. " It does make things so much easier for everybody. It hasn't being plain sailing all the time but got to do what's best for the kids. Also we're dealing with the divorce by ourselves without solicitors so save a bit of money that way.

"Guy here and fellow American. I was at a breakup party, with a couple. It was in Cali, friends were invited, then when people left, a couple of swingers and myself stayed on, to have fun and consumate the amicable breakup." Sounds like the perfect party
