Any Diamond hands out there?

I think with all the restrictiond, most apps wont let you buy at all, or limit it to 1 or 2 shares, its going to be extremely difficult for it to come up again.

Hedge funds will just keep hitting it with short ladder attacks to keep the price down to cover their earlier bets indefinitely.

I hope I'm wrong though and WSB can cripple these institutes.

watching the whole thing has been quite amusing. I agree with gary though. As far as I can tell most trading platforms have put a limit on the amount you can buy (cant be upsetting the institutions now) and as far as I can tell Robinhood are going to end up in the toilet

Sadly not a diamond hands, ironically my friends have been trying to get me into stocks weeks beforehand.

Somebody I used to work with had great faith in stocks, I wonder how he feels about them now when he realises it's a broken system.

I want them to succeed, but I feel like all we are gonna see is more corruption, and then things will go back to normal.

Take it to the moon.

Got in on AMC but with the restrictions that fecked up. Will continue to hold for the foreseeable though.

Don't think Elon endorsed Dodge .... he endorsed Bitcoin and I think there will be announcements this week with other US companies starting to put Bitcoin on their balance sheet after the Microstrategy / Michael Saylor conference's this week.

I got some cryptocurrency free a few years ago

At one stage it was worth about €3500

At another stage it was worth around €100

It's currently worth just over €1000

In truth, I've absolutely no idea what it's all about... but it's been good craic watching it go all over the shop

Hiya Mrs

Personally I think it will hit the expectations, the retail and institutional money is only starting to come into it now in a meaningful way. You have a few companies ahead of the curve ... Microstrategy, Grayscale etc but the others will come. Leaving cash in the bank is pointless, inflation is taking 7 / 8% per year.

What happened Robinhood and the other stock brokerages in the US will also push people towards it as the system is rigged against the "little guy".

Just my opinion

Oh absolutely. Obviously there will be corrections along the way but i would hope people who invest would understand how the markets work and not pull out too early because its going to shoot up into the hundreds of thousands.

I would be very skeptical of a short squeeze happening at this stage in the game. Every single time a short ladder attack occurred, all trading was simultaniously suspended for regular folk, preventing any retaliation.

GME is blocked for new accounts, and limited to a 1 or 2 shares on most platforms. WSB will never get the momentum it had a week ago as everyone has already pumped every penny they have into it.

For today only Short sales were prohibited on GME, and price still went down. I'm guessing they will obliterate it tomorrow when the short attacks commence again.

I initially thought WSB would win out,, but if you asked me now to bet who would win a war, regular folk or multi billion $ corrupt companies, I know who I'm betting on.

Totally agree the brokers / clearing houses screwed the regular folk and the momentum was lost. Fun while it lasted.

See Elon this morning on about Doge again it's up 77% in minutes. Crazy world.

GME is the one time pony for now and I would be skeptical of any others... Like Silver! Hahaha.

Friends and my Brother have put money into GME ...but AMC did them much better. I've actually been trying to get an account for Degiro but you need a passport and level 5 we can't get one. So it's like I have been perving on a fish tank this whole time and loving everything. I suppose ever % it is over what the companies predicted it would cost is the win.

Still holding AMC and bought more BTC today.

Both with long term view, BTC longer term view than AMC.

With AMC if there is a chance of gamma or short squeeze I'd like to catch it but ultimately don't think it'll happen and it will trade low / mid 20's within 12 months.

I made 500 of Doge. Bought it super low.

Then I made 300 off AMC. I feel like a lot of people getting into stocks have little clue and if they have a gamblers mentality they made lose.

Get in and out while you can

Yeah it'll run once everywhere opens up stateside, thinking low to mid 20's. I'll be happy enough with that, but if it did squeeze I'd be even happier.

I'll follow it up with limits etc and see how it fares.

Anyone any ideas how high Game could go? Sitting @ $280 at moment and fully expect another day of increase past €300 once US market opens...

Some are suggesting it could spike to €800+ as part of the squeeze...

It’s really all just speculation and a massive game of prisoners dilemma, as long as people hold it could continue higher and higher.

Also today will be interesting because options expiring ITM last week the shares for them had to be bought by EOD yesterday so could see some downward movement again too until next week.

I guess to try help answer, try cover your costs if you can and let the rest run and see what happens.

Yeah will be interesting to see what sort of movment today when US trading kicks back in alright..

I've already cashed out majority of my shares from GME when it hit €180 as was hard to tell how high it would go to. I've bought back a smaller amount during last dip and will likely try judge the next peak and sell off again..

Its mainly guess work and gut feeling tbh..
