"James Herbert, must look into him" Hes probably too old fashioned now but his books were scary and explicit at the time My favorite was The Fog followed by The Rats

"Avid reader here, tend to have 2 or 3 books on the go all the time. Same as previous posters, anything from Tom Sharp to Tim Pat Coogan from the Devine comedy to the new testament. For Fantasy my go to would probably be RA Salvatore or Feist. " Riotous Assembly was the funniest book I've ever read! I laughed out loud the whole way through!! Tom Sharpe's books are brilliant! Love the Kay Scarpetta books too. Autobiographies always interest me. I'll even read the back of the cornflakes box while having brekkie!!!

"My preferred genre is historical fiction; reading Shantaram at present. My trip into fantasy went as far as Harry Potter. Love it though but wouldn't venture any further. " I’ve Shantaram in the reading pile at the minute. It’s a beast of a book and if I start I’d want to finish is it worth the effort?

An insight into a totally different rarely represented world, and a very rare individual.

The books are in sequence so start with homeland then exile then sojourn. After that you should be hooked and spend waaaay to much time reading rather than working
