Hey folks,

Been a while since I have been on these forums. Hope you're all doing well during these strange and difficult times.

To those who already know me, a big HELLO.

To those that are recently new to Fab or the forums, a big welcome and hello also.

Was just wondering if any of you would be interested in doing an interactive online quiz sometime. Full anonymity can be maintained. Read on and details shall be disclosed.

We could do a trial run and then if it runs smoothly we could maybe make it a weekly thing or periodically when it suits most.

How it would work:

Basically all you need if you want to participate is an App called Zoom.

It can be downloaded free to your computer, tablet or laptop.

For those that aren't familiar with Zoom you can pm me and I'll give full help on how to download it and how it works.

When logged in on Zoom you can keep your camera and/or your mic off if you wish. There is chat on it that can be used instead.

A date and time would be set and once everybody logs into Zoom on the set date and time I will then give a link in the chat which will

connect us all to an online quiz I will have prepared in advance.

I'll be quizmaster and help and assist the whole way through.

All you have to do is enter in a nickname of your choosing and an avatar of your choosing.

Then you shall see the quiz questions appear on your screen.

For every question you see appear in front of you, you shall see four possible answers.

You just have to click on whichever answer you think is the correct one and then click submit.

The quicker you answer the more points you can earn for that question.

The points are totalled as you go along and at the end whomever has most points wins the entire quiz.

I have tried and tested this with friends outside of Fab and it is something that has helped us keep in touch on a social level during lockdown periods despite not being able to socialise in person face to face.

It's good craic and banter.

I have previous quizzes lined up and ready to go.

I'm thinking that this could be a good thing for any of you that are maybe feeling bored, lonely, down, frustrated or similar due to this ever ongoing Covid situation.

I know it has certainly helped myself and friends maintain some level of social interaction.

I'm hoping this could maybe do the same for yourselves. Let me know your thoughts.
