so basically met a guy out a few days ago that ticked all the boxes!

Funny,attractive, built like a brick ..house!

but...!

He stank!

as we chatted i was trying to mask the dry heaves his deodorant was inducing, he had a sports bag with him noticed a stynx can through the partially open zipper.

the stuff is vile!

the add campaign's market it as a pheromone like doodah that will make the person of your desires go weak at the knees with lust.. more like dizzy and light headed with the noxious over powering fumes!

in the end made excuses and left his presence!

anyone else had similar experiences with stynx wearers?

I don't even know what it smells like! But then maybe the magic of it is to lure in young women and repulse men?

Maybe it could be renamed to REPULSE? At least it would rhyme with the female deo IMPULSE, because I hate that stuff.

And Lynx burns the feckin pits off you too, and I find that in most cases lynx wearers squirt it on instead of taking a shower.....

Nothing beats a clean smell with just a hint of something nice...

braved it for nearly 40 mins before making excuses and going!

he was on his way to some sort of team sporting event.. tbh initially it was tolerable .. before he went off to use the facilities taking his sports bag with him.. and you guessed! he topped up on it and returned reeking of acidy musck stynx aerosol fumes.

I cannot stand that stuff - I think I still have a few box sets hanging about that I got as presents - one of them I think was chocolate or something and it was vile - I have sensitive skin so I tend to use neutral ordinary deodorants - Also, I used to work in a bar and the difference in smells once the smoking ban kicked in was unreal (especially around boxing day

I bet if I was wearing lynx (which I do by the way, sometimes I run out of my normal cheap deodorant because I'm not a millionaire, and will lift one of the many cans of lynx I have due to having nieces and nephews.. Again who are not millionaires, but it's the thought that counts...) not one of you would no unless you seen the can and seen me spray it on. Bulxxxxxxers here??

And by the way just for just sake the op did say this was not a meet? Maybe the lad like myself is not a millionaire and will use whatever cheap shite he has handy if he is only going down the gym or to work... And save the good stuff for special occasions when trying to impress someone... Or are you all going to try and convince me you all wear channel no1 every time you wake up, even just to walk round the garden with the mower????

I'm glad Harvey never takes things personally and has sufficient humour to take things lightly and is open minded enough to understand that other people have different tastes in deodorant

There are plenty of other affordable deodorants which smell more neutral. Just to say... I use Sure deodorant for every day wear which costs €2.00.

Changing tact here a wee bit ( i do hate fights) one thing I do hate about stynx (or its wearers) and I will hasten to add there are other stinky smellies out there - is the way the user will tend to spray over his whole body

Guys - when I go to nibble your nipple - I hate getting me tongue stuck to your chest

I actually use Dove... I mixed it up. Is that better?? lol

I don't use the spray though, I find the roll ons more effective.

And I agree on the all over body spraying, not necessary.

I prefer when they wear a neutralish deodorant (only used on armpits) and a nice perfurme or aftershave in moderation. I don't like the all body spray application.

nivea does a nice range for men , although i don,t mind some of lynx fragances some can be over powerin and go easy on the old aftersahve less is more don,t like the taste of it in my mouth when i,m bitin ya lol
